This hotel was fabulous and very good value had we only been able to take full advantage of its resort amenities beyond the single night we stayed. While there, we did enjoy a nice meal thru room service and relaxed in a very comfortable king bed, large bath, and full size sofa that befitted the sprawling room size. We took long walks across its spacious, manicured grounds with our dog (yes, they do reserve three of its rooms to accommodate <40 lb dogs), while taking in the colorful mountains surrounding the resort. With so much to offer, this would be a wonderful destination/event site for family and friends or just a quiet - and long - getaway for a couple like ourselves.

Wonderful hotel full of history. We have been going to this hotel every year for many years for a restful getaway. The staff are excellent & welcoming. The hallways are fun to walk- full of paintings and books. The rooms are comfortable and include a table & chairs if you'd like to read. Great bedding, lots of towels, and mini refrigerator. The views are amazing. Make sure to get to breakfast early and secure a table with a view. Try to book at least 3 nights so you have enough time to enjoy the restaurants, bar and the area.

We love the overall feel of the resort. It was so nice to see all of the different guests hanging out and enjoying the large lobby area. My family enjoyed the pool table, board game room, and the movie theater. All of the food that we ordered from the restaurant was very good. Linda from the gift shop was just delightful and she made each morning start out right with a friendly chat while I got my morning coffee. The location was beautiful and was perfect for our visit to Santa’s Village that was just 15 minutes down the road.

Perfect place to bring the family for a weekend away and to see Ice Castles (about 40 min drive). The farm is great, the restaurant is exceptional, the staff is friendly and helpful, the decor is beautiful. I hate modern hotel design but the beds are comfortable. Usually with older inns the beds are not comfortable. This was NOT the case here and the beds were so great. I'm a side sleeper and have trouble sleeping in general and this was just perfect. The kids loved the indoor pool.

The facilities are amazing. The location is a dream and the room we had facing the mountains had exquisite views. Whenever we opened the blinds in the morning... there, the mountains... right in front of us to say hello. The farm, the green areas, the pool, the play room and the board room were incredible. It's a great place to go and disconnect and do small hikes. Great place for a family with young kids (our kids' age: 9, 7 and 3)
