The tavern food exceeded expectations and the servers were all extremely nice! The "buffet" breakfast was delicious and way more upscale than the buffet breakfasts included at other hotels. Although it wasn't free, the buffet was delicious with lots of options, which is appreciated since we had our toddler in tow. There also didn't seem to be a ton of good food options in the area, so the The outdoor pool was really nice! We never attended when the pool bar was open, but it looks like they had yummy drink selections. The game room area, although not for toddlers, was fun to play ping pong with my husband and get our daughter excited about ping pong balls. We were visiting Santa's village as well, and it was an easy 12 minute drive there which was a huge bonus. The grounds were really pretty!

Wonderful hotel full of history. We have been going to this hotel every year for many years for a restful getaway. The staff are excellent & welcoming. The hallways are fun to walk- full of paintings and books. The rooms are comfortable and include a table & chairs if you'd like to read. Great bedding, lots of towels, and mini refrigerator. The views are amazing. Make sure to get to breakfast early and secure a table with a view. Try to book at least 3 nights so you have enough time to enjoy the restaurants, bar and the area.

We love the overall feel of the resort. It was so nice to see all of the different guests hanging out and enjoying the large lobby area. My family enjoyed the pool table, board game room, and the movie theater. All of the food that we ordered from the restaurant was very good. Linda from the gift shop was just delightful and she made each morning start out right with a friendly chat while I got my morning coffee. The location was beautiful and was perfect for our visit to Santa’s Village that was just 15 minutes down the road.

Perfect place to bring the family for a weekend away and to see Ice Castles (about 40 min drive). The farm is great, the restaurant is exceptional, the staff is friendly and helpful, the decor is beautiful. I hate modern hotel design but the beds are comfortable. Usually with older inns the beds are not comfortable. This was NOT the case here and the beds were so great. I'm a side sleeper and have trouble sleeping in general and this was just perfect. The kids loved the indoor pool.

The facilities are amazing. The location is a dream and the room we had facing the mountains had exquisite views. Whenever we opened the blinds in the morning... there, the mountains... right in front of us to say hello. The farm, the green areas, the pool, the play room and the board room were incredible. It's a great place to go and disconnect and do small hikes. Great place for a family with young kids (our kids' age: 9, 7 and 3)
